Why are there women’s sports in the first place? If gender or sex is simply a mental frame of mind, separate from biological reality, then why not just have, say, “basketball” — and not “men’s basketball” and “women’s basketball”?
I thought I read or saw a video that Lia had won a few events her Freshman year, then started hormones, maybe just estradiol which can lower testosterone too. And competed her Sophomore year in the mens division on hormones. Hence her 455th ranking. Then took testosterone blockers too, and took two years off with Covid. And also to make sure she was eligible to compete as a female. I think the website was something like swim.org. Which had a interview also.
So per her Sports Illustrated article and interview, she began HRT in May of 2019. After one year of being on them she was cleared to play against women, however that isn't what happened. Because of Covid, you can check on swimcloud.com, that she did not have any meets from January of 2020 to November of 2021. In that Jan. meet she played against men, and then didn't compete against other women until November of 2021
I was told you had an interview with Riley Gaines, is this true?
I did yes.
Didn't expect a reply. I heard about it from Assigned Media How can I confirm it's legit?
More than happy to share screenshots of our email conversation.
Where is it?
I am going to create a separate post about the interview and Gaines. I will share it there once it's done.
Good to hear. Surprised it took you this long to do it.
Thanks.
